Skin check
The area is checked for irritation and you tell us about recent acids, retinol or sun.

Skin is cleansed and prepped, then wax is applied in sections with a fresh spatula each time.

A calming lotion is applied and any stray hairs are tweezed.

Aftercare
- No sea, pool, sauna or gym for 24 hours
- No sunbathing or self-tan for 48 hours
- Exfoliate gently from day three to prevent ingrown hairs
- Loose clothing on the first day, especially after bikini waxing
- Do not shave between appointments — let the hair grow to 5 mm
Frequently asked questions
How long does the hair need to be?
About 5 mm, roughly two weeks of growth after shaving. Shorter hair slips out of the wax and the result is patchy.
Does it get less painful?
Yes. After three or four regular appointments the hair grows back finer and sparser, and most clients find it noticeably easier.
Can I wax if I use retinol?
Stop applying it on the area for at least five to seven days first. Retinol thins the surface and waxing over it can lift skin.
What about ingrown hairs?
Gentle exfoliation twice a week from day three prevents most of them. Do not dig them out; if one is inflamed, leave it and mention it at your next appointment.
