The one thing to understand is that the pigment goes over your natural lip colour, not onto a blank surface: a cool pink on naturally deep lips will heal warmer than the swatch. We will hold the shade against your lips and tell you what it will actually do before anything is committed.

Lips fade faster than brows because the surface renews quickly — most people see the colour soften noticeably within the first year. Our published policy is what matters here: a lip touch-up is 50 per cent of the price you originally paid, within 6 months of the first session. After 6 months it is the normal price or whatever promotion is running. So if you want the discounted top-up, plan it inside that window rather than waiting for the colour to disappear.

Keep them moist and leave them alone. Apply the balm the branch gives you as often as they tell you, because lips that dry out crack and crack lines are where colour is lost. For the first few days skip spicy and very hot food, salty food on broken skin, and drinking through a straw pressed against the lip. Do not pick the flakes — pulling one off takes pigment with it and leaves a pale patch you will notice for a year. No swimming, sauna or steam until the flaking is over, and keep them out of strong sun. Full written aftercare is given on the day.

Dark lips can be evened and warmed, but they cannot be bleached. Neutralising takes two or three sessions and the honest result is a warmer, more even tone, not a pink transformation.
