How the appointment works
Consultation
We look at your face, your skin and what you already do with makeup, and agree what suits you.
15–20 minDesign and colour
The shape is drawn on and adjusted until you approve it. Pigment is mixed for your undertone.
20–30 minNumbing
Topical anaesthetic is applied and given time to work before any pigment goes in.

Pigment is implanted in layers. You check the mirror as we go, not only at the end.
60–90 minAftercare briefing
You leave with written aftercare in your language and a retouch window booked for 4–8 weeks later.

Aftercare
- Keep the area dry for the first 24 hours, then blot clean with cooled boiled water
- Apply the supplied balm in a thin film — thick layers suffocate the skin
- No swimming pool, sea, sauna or steam for 10–14 days
- Do not pick or scrub the flakes; let them come away on their own
- Keep the area out of direct sun and wear SPF once healed
Frequently asked questions
Does it hurt?
Most clients describe it as scratching rather than pain. Topical anaesthetic is applied before we start and topped up during the appointment. Lips are the most sensitive area, brows the least.
How long does it last?
One to three years depending on the area, your skin type and sun exposure. Oily skin and daily sun fade pigment faster. It fades gradually rather than disappearing at a fixed date.
Will it look obvious?
The colour looks 30–40% stronger for the first week while the skin heals, then settles. The shape we agree at consultation is drawn on your face first, so you see the result before any pigment is used.
Can you correct old work from another studio?
Often, yes, but it is assessed in person. Old pigment that has turned grey or orange, or a shape set too high, may need lightening sessions before new work. We tell you honestly if correction is not realistic in one appointment.
Which branch should I book?
Patong is convenient if you are staying near the beach; Kathu suits residents and repeat clients. The same techniques are offered at both. Message either branch on LINE and they will tell you the earliest slot.
Do I need a patch test?
We offer one on request and recommend it if you have reacted to hair dye, cosmetics or metals before. It is done at least 48 hours ahead of the appointment.
What do I avoid before the appointment?
No alcohol or coffee that morning, no fish oil, vitamin E or aspirin for 48 hours unless prescribed, and no sunburn or fresh peel on the area. Come with clean skin and no makeup on the area.
Is a deposit required?
Yes for reserved time slots. The amount and the reschedule window are confirmed by the branch when your booking is accepted — see the booking and cancellation policy.
